Lonely London Visits Lincoln’s Inn ⚖️ 600 Years of London’s Legal History Join us for a rare opportunity to explore Lincoln’s Inn, one of London’s four historic Inns of Court and home to an association of barristers and judges for more than 600 years. Usually closed to the public, Lincoln’s Inn sits within a surprisingly tranquil 11-acre estate in the heart of London. Its Grade I and II listed buildings span centuries of architecture, from medieval and Georgian to Victorian, and include magnificent banqueting halls, a historic law library, chapel and modern teaching spaces. Our Meetup We’ll meet close to Holborn Underground Station before taking a relaxed 10–15 minute meander through Lincoln’s Inn Fields and making our way into Lincoln’s Inn. Once inside, there’ll be plenty of time to explore at your own pace, take photographs, discover the architecture and soak up more than 600 years of London’s legal history. ⏰ Allow approximately 2 hours for the Meetup. People will naturally explore at different speeds, so once we've finished, we can regroup in Lincoln’s Inn Fields. If the weather is kind, bring something to eat or drink and we can sit together afterwards. If the Great British weather has other ideas ☔, we'll identify a nice nearby café before the day and meet there instead. And there's a story behind this Meetup... This event was suggested by one of our own members. That's exactly what I'd love to see more of. Lonely London isn't just about events I organise. It's our community.
