Talks: Headless Publishing with Umbraco Automate by Callum Whyte What if Umbraco could be the engine that publishes content to just about anything? Callum will demonstrate extending Umbraco Automate for headless publishing – from a static-generated site with a custom queue-based trigger for batching content changes, to push notifications and beyond. He'll also share some tips around how different front-end and delivery technologies might influence the publishing strategies you choose. Ghosts of Umbraco Past: Coding Practices to Lay to Rest in 2027 (Preview / Work in Progress) by Joe Glombek This session is an early preview of my UMBUK26 talk, so expect a work in progress rather than the polished conference version. Some coding practices were the right choice once—but modern Umbraco has moved on. In this session, we'll look at common patterns and habits that are ready to be laid to rest in 2027, why they're no longer the best approach, and the modern alternatives that can help keep your Umbraco projects cleaner, faster, and easier to maintain.
