🍂 Autumn Walk

Join us for an autumn walk through the beautiful woodland around Ruislip, mostly through Park Wood and Copse Woods. With October bringing changing leaves and beautiful autumn colours, this should be a lovely time of year to explore the woods. 🥾 Walk Details 📅 Date: Saturday 10th October ⏰ Start time: 11:00am 📍 Start & finish: Ruislip Station 📏 Distance: Approximately 6 miles 💷 Cost: £2 per person (plus booking fee) ⭐ Difficulty Moderate The walk is around 6 miles and will include woodland paths and uneven ground. You should be comfortable walking for several hours and be prepared for potentially muddy conditions. 🌳 Terrain The route will pass through Park Wood and Copse Woods, with a mixture of woodland paths, tracks and uneven ground. Expect mud! 🍂🥾 Depending on recent weather, some sections may be particularly wet, muddy or covered with golden leaves. Hiking boots are essential — trainers and casual footwear are not suitable for this walk. 🎒 What to Bring Please come prepared for an autumn day outdoors. We recommend bringing: 🥾 Hiking boots with good grip 🧥 Waterproof jacket / suitable outdoor clothing 💧 Plenty of water 🎒 Small backpack 🍎 Snacks or something to eat ☔ Waterproofs in case of rain 👟 A light change of shoes for after the walk — especially useful if your boots are muddy Please check the weather before setting off and dress accordingly. 📍 Meeting Point & Getting There Ruislip Station (Central Line) The walk will start and finish at Ruislip Station. Please arrive a little before 11:00am so we can get everyone organised and set off promptly. 🚇 Public transport: Ruislip Station is easily accessible via the Central line, making it convenient to reach by public transport. 🚗 By car: There is street parking available in the surrounding area, although availability may vary, so please allow plenty of time to find a space. 👥 Suitability This walk is intended for adults aged 21 and over who are comfortable completing a 6-mile woodland walk. Please note: 🚫 No children 🚫 No under-21s 🚫 No dogs 🚫 No alcohol 🎟️ Booking, Fees & Refunds Limited spaces are available, so early booking is recommended. RSVP is essential — please reserve your place using the booking links. 🌐 Booking is via this website/app only. No cash payments will be accepted. The £2 event charge plus booking fee applies to this event only and cannot be transferred to another event. Please note: bookings are non-refundable.
