Today’s walk takes us around Guildford and the local countryside via the Wey South Path and North Downs Way. Starting at Guildford station, we’ll make our way to the Wey South Path to follow the River Wey towards the Down Link, which we then follow to walk through Shalford. From here, we’ll pass St Mary the Virgin Church before turning right onto the North Downs Way to head along the Scholar's Trail. This should take us towards Pewley Meadows and St Michael Church, the latter of which we’ll pass to head towards Guildford Castle and the finishing point back at Guildford station. For those who want a pub stop at this point, we’ll be stopping at The Britannia, which is a short walk from the station.

Distance: 15.1km / 9.4mi
