Local Walk: Coombe Abbey & Brinklow Castle

Interesting local ramble, set in North Warwickshire on the outskirts of Coventry, passing some interesting architecture and offroad scenery as usual.

Logistics:
Meet: 10:00 check-in, to start within 5-10 minutes, or earlier if those visible are ready.
Distance: 8 to 8.5 miles over relatively flat terrain
Start Point: Outside The Raven Inn, B4428, Brinklow, CV23 0LU
Parking: Along Broad Street (B4428) itself or adjoining roads. Please spread vehicle considerately around the village.
Terrain: Grassland, woodland, pools and parts of The Centenary Way. Straightforward as long as winter weather is not too unkind.

Refreshments: Picnic stop and cafe stop in Coombe Abbey Grounds, and Raven or White Lion in Brinklow to finish
