Celebrate World Vegan Day with us by the Kamogawa River! 🌿

Join us for a refreshing Sunday morning of caring for nature, sharing plant-based food, and connecting with others.

We'll start by walking along the Kamogawa River from Sanjo Bridge to Shijo Bridge, picking up litter along the way. After giving a little care to this beautiful place we all share, we'll sit down by the river for a plant-based breakfast potluck!

Everyone is invited to bring some vegan food to share, whether homemade or store-bought. During breakfast, we'll introduce what we've brought, chat about what brought us together, and enjoy getting to know one another.

Whether you're vegan, curious about plant-based eating, passionate about the environment, or simply looking to meet new people, you're warmly welcome!

🥗 What to Bring
- A vegan breakfast dish or food to share\, everyone is asked to bring something! Homemade or store-bought is absolutely fine. Fruit\, vegan onigiri\, sandwiches\, bread\, or other easy-to-share foods are all great options.
- Your own reusable gloves for litter picking. Please avoid disposable gloves.
- Your own cup\, plate\, and utensils\, ideally reusable.
- Drinking water and anything else you might need for a comfortable morning.

All shared food should be fully plant-based, with no meat, fish, eggs, dairy, honey, or other animal-derived ingredients. Please choose something that's easy to share and doesn't require heating or cooking on-site.

We'll provide garbage bags for the clean-up.

☔ In Case of Rain
The event will be canceled if it rains. We'll share an update on Meetup if cancellation is necessary.

💚 A Little Care Goes a Long Way
World Vegan Day is an opportunity to reflect on how our everyday choices affect animals, people, and the environment. You don't need to be vegan to take part. Just bring something plant-based to share, a pair of reusable gloves, and a little care for the river and the people around you.

Looking forward to spending a lovely morning together!
