West Bloomfield Indoor Archery... (date may change to another in same month)

Be patient if you are on the waiting list. Many will drop and I may increase s later.

Join Sparks & Mingle for a beginner indoor archery outing at Detroit Archers, Michigan's oldest archery club. Their Saturday Archers program is designed for beginners as well as people with some experience, so you do not need to know how to shoot a bow to participate. All of the necessary archery equipment is provided.

We'll learn the basics and then get a chance to actually shoot on Detroit Archers' indoor target range. It's a fun opportunity to try something most of us probably don't do every Saturday—and to do it together with other Sparks members.

Cost: The currently posted price is $15 per adult per session, for members and non-members alike, with equipment included. Under the current Saturday Archers format, no advance registration is required.

DATE NOTE: We're planning this for a Saturday in January 2027, most likely at the club's traditional 9:00 a.m. Saturday session. The exact date is still tentative because Detroit Archers has not yet published its complete 2026–27 Saturday Archers schedule. Their previous winter program ran from November through late March, so we're expecting January dates again. We'll confirm the exact Saturday as soon as Detroit Archers releases the new winter schedule.

Please plan to arrive about 10 minutes early so the instructors can match you with the proper bow and arrows. The club also recommends avoiding loose-fitting clothing such as bulky hoodies or sweatshirts while shooting.

No experience necessary. Come take your best shot! 🎯. $15 cash only when you arrive.
