Civic Jam

Spend a weekend using service design tools to tackle real civic challenges in Atlanta!

Civic Jam is a three-day, hands-on design jam hosted by SDN Atlanta in partnership with Civic Tech Atlanta, with thanks to our host sponsor, Harmonic. Unlike a hackathon, this event is workshop focused, with big-picture thinking, and scrappy prototyping.

You'll join a small team, dig into a civic challenge, and take it through the full service design process, from understanding the audience, to framing the problem, and eventually sharing your solution ideas at the end of the weekend.

Teams are formed on site, so come solo or bring a friend. No government experience needed (but encouraged)!
