This meetup’s topic: “Multipassionate Loneliness – When Having Many Interests Makes It Hard to Belong”
Do you sometimes feel that having many interests makes it harder to find people who truly understand you?
Multipotentialites often move between different worlds, communities, and identities. We may connect deeply with people over one shared passion, yet find that other important parts of ourselves remain invisible. While our curiosity opens doors to many different social circles, it can also leave us feeling that we don't fully belong anywhere.
We'll explore why having many passions can sometimes lead to loneliness, how to build meaningful connections without having to narrow down who we are, and whether being different can become a strength rather than a barrier to belonging.
“What should you do when you want to do everything? Everything!” — Barbara Sher
