Our read-aloud is back!

Kim Choyeop’s ‘If We Cannot Go at the Speed of Light’ is a collection of thought-provoking science fiction short stories that explore deeply human questions within imaginative futures.

For our read-aloud, we’ll be reading “Archival Loss,” a story that explores memory, identity, and the boundaries between human connection and technology. It invites us to reflect on what it means to preserve someone’s memory, whether we can ever truly know the people we love, and what remains of a person when their memories are preserved.

What to Expect:
We’ll take turns reading the story aloud as a group, then dive into an open discussion to share thoughts, favorite passages, questions, and reflections.

No need to read in advance—but if you’d like to, feel free!

Can’t get a copy in time? Message and let us know, so we can share one on-site.

🗓️ Date: November 1st
🕒 Time: 11am ~ 1pm
📍 Venue link: Misajang
43-2 Namyeong-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul

❗️If you can’t make it, please update your RSVP, so we can plan accordingly.

Hope to see you there!
