Isinglass River

This is an easy 4.5-5 mile out and back at a moderate pace. Very scenic view of the river and small falls.

We start at a parking area off Rochester Neck Rd., I don't remember there being bathrooms or porta-pottys. Taking the Gonic Falls Trail we hike down to the Insinglass River. Then we follow along the river to another parking area for the river/falls. After that we reverse course and head back to the cars.

This hike is a take it easy day between the other more challenging hikes. Afterwards we have the option of going to a very good BBQ place nearby for lunch. Bring water, rain gear, and poles if you use them. If you need to contact me, my cell is 609-471-4119.
