🐺🎬 WEREWULF (FILM & NY SOCIAL)

🐺 As the new year dawns, we’re trading resolutions for howls—because this year starts with a full moon of madness

👋 Hello Everyone! And, what better way to kick off 2027 than by howling at the moon? Werewolf tales can be hit or miss—even with a silver bullet—but if anyone can make us truly believe again, it’s Robert Eggers.

The film is described as his darkest darkest work yet, continuing his immersive historical horror. Of course, there’s that dash of trust in his signature eerie folklore lens, making us second-guess every shadow. And while the explicit plot summary is closely guarded, what we do know is that it’s set in 13th-century England, where a mysterious creature stalks the countryside, focusing on authentic period dialogue.

This sounds like it could be an exciting film and social. And, of course, we’ll chat about the film after with a fun Letterboxd review. We’ll share all the details as we get closer to the time, but feel free to bring your favourite horror attire—or come as you are.

So, let’s set the scene by howling at the moon while those bloody resolutions are still fresh.
