This gathering is for senior dogs and the people who love them. We'll take a relaxed walk along the shoreline, giving our older companions a chance to enjoy some fresh air, sunshine, new smells, and good company, always at their own pace.

We'll meet at the Alameda Shoreline and give everyone a chance to introduce themselves and their senior dog(s).

We'll take an easy-paced walk along the shoreline. This is intentionally not a fitness walk. Senior dogs are welcome to walk, sniff, take breaks, or simply enjoy the outing.

Dogs who are more comfortable riding in a stroller, wagon, or other mobility aid are absolutely welcome. The goal is to enjoy the time together, not to cover a certain distance.

This is intended to be a gentle, social outing, not a strenuous hike. If your dog needs to stop, rest, or head home early, that's completely fine.

We're creating a space where senior dogs and their people can enjoy the outdoors, meet others who understand the joys and challenges of caring for an older companion, and simply spend some quality time together.
