Thanksgiving Eve Urban Hike and Social Outing

Join us for our fourth annual Thanksgiving Eve night hike and social.
In an effort to provide a "midpoint" for most folks, the event will take place in Conshohocken. Note for all, especially the regular peeps, this will not be our typical fast paced weekly night hike in terms of speed, distance or style. This will be a RARE time in which we will chill out a bit. However, we have some "fun" planned along the way- like racing up 12 stories in a parking garage, walking up heart attack hill, etc....

Total mileage will be in the 5-6 mile range but will include a bit of elevation courtesy of the Conshohocken hills; estimate of approximately only 400 - 500 ft. We will hike in both Conshohocken and West Conshohocken. After the hike, we will head to the Great American Pub in Conshohocken, right next to where we are parked. They will have a DJ spinning tunes starting around 9:30.

Please PLEASE partake responsibly. This is the biggest drinking night of the year. BE SAFE.......

Sneakers are totally ok for this as we will not be in the woods at all.

Guests are ok for this event, but please make sure that they have a basic fitness level. Pace will be about 3 mph.

PARKING AND MEETING LOCATION: We will meet at the intersection of East 3rd/Hallowell/Springmill. 3 point intersection. St Paul Baptist is on the corner. The address is 140 E 3rd. I posted a pic of where to park- outlined in red. Exact meeting spot is marked with blue X.

Please note: I cannot respond to calls, texts, emails, messages on meetup, or comments on the event page once we start hiking. Plan accordingly. I highly advise allowing extra time for arrival to avoid last minute chaos....:)
