D&D Lite/ In the Hall of the Mountain King / Brookline RPG Day

Snatched off the street by armed guards, you're dumped on the floor of a throne room before you even know what you're being accused of. Around you: strangers, equally unbothered by the rough treatment. You're all used to it. You're all goblins.

In the Hall of the Mountain King is a D&D lite one-shot, built specifically with brand-new players in mind — a light-rules, high-chaos session that's a great first RPG experience.

Combat, storytelling, and puzzles all in the mix
Unique NPCs to charm, dodge, or aggravate
Play a goblin — mild chaos and hilarity come standard
Paced and designed for a first-time table

Nobody asked to be here. Might as well make the most of it.

Made with brand-new players in mind but veterans are most welcome. Pre-generated characters provided, with plenty room to make your own choices and impact your shared story along the way.

Bring your own (optional):

1. Dice
2. Player character standee - Doesn’t have to be a goblin. Doesn’t have to be a miniature. Does have to fit same space as a miniature would.
3. Minor magical item ideas
4. Sense of adventure
5. Sense of humor
