Creation Wines comes to Glasgow

One of the world's top ranked wineries is coming to Glasgow for this evening, to share some of their wines from South Africa's Hemel-en-Aarde wine region, which translates as 'Heaven and Earth'.

Located to the North of Walker Bay, the Hemel-en-Aarde ridge is recognised as one of the finest vine growing areas in South Africa: relatively cool climate with oceanic influences.

Creation Wines was ranked 7th in The World's 100 Best Vineyards Awards 2025, and their wines receive world-wide acclaim. With all this recognition, they feel the need to travel to Glasgow and show off their produce to the IWSS! They will take in Wine Paris, while in Europe, but the pinnacle - naturally - must be to come and speak to us!!!

The winery was set up in 2002 by a South African/Swiss couple, and they have developed an organisation that not only produces excellent wine, but also acknowledges and cares for both the natural environment and the local population. In terms of the latter, they support locals to become skilled in all aspects of vineyard and winery activity.

To have such a prestigious winery come and share their wines with us is incredibly special for the IWSS. We are lucky to have them visit. Let's give them the support that they deserve at this evening's tasting.
