Little Rock Shadow Puppetry Behind The Screen

We are hosting a casual afternoon session for anyone interested in the mechanics and storytelling side of shadow puppetry. This gathering is meant to pull back the curtain on how we build our figures and arrange the lighting to get those crisp silhouettes on screen. Whether you are a total beginner who just wants to see how it works or someone who has been experimenting with puppets at home, you are welcome to join us.

We will spend the time sharing techniques for cutting jointed figures, selecting the right materials for screens, and troubleshooting common shadow quality issues. It is a relaxed, hands-on environment where we can trade ideas and work through some light construction projects together. Please bring any work-in-progress pieces you might want feedback on, or just come ready to learn from the rest of the group.

If you think you can make it, please let us know by clicking the RSVP button. It helps us make sure we have enough materials and table space for everyone who plans to attend.
