Built on the former Bloomingdale Line railroad, the trail opened in June 2015 after decades of planning and community advocacy. Today, The 606 combines walking and biking trails with gardens, public art, neighborhood views and access to some of Chicago's most vibrant communities. 🌳🎨🏙️ More than a decade after opening, it's become one of Chicago's most recognizable urban green spaces—and there's no better way to experience it than on foot! 👟✨ 💡 GOOD TO KNOW ⚠️ This is a one-way walk.
