During intermission, let’s keep the fun going and meet on the Family Circle level by the statue of the kneeling woman (pictured). To get to the Met Opera, take the 1 train to 66 St-Lincoln Center or the 1ABCD to 59 St-Columbus Circle and walk up Broadway. The Met is the large building at the rear of the Lincoln Center plaza. Doors open to the general public 45 minutes before the performance. Download the Met Opera app to purchase tickets or purchase at the box office to avoid facility fees. Met titles are available at every seat in multiple languages so you don’t need to know Italian to follow along. Please respect the performers and fellow audience members by not talking or texting during the performance. Wear whatever makes you feel good and comfortable- no need to dress up, though that’s always welcome.
