Due to the incoming named storm we have rescheduled Henley/Greys Court and are taking a long walk round the Thames and View Island in Reading, the weather looks fine for this, not a lot of rain, a but windy and it will be a bit chilly yes – wrap up, but the real storm will be hitting after about 3pm (by which time we will be having a roast dinner in Toby Carvery or in the pub! All welcome
So – Meet time 11.45 – Outside Rivermead Sports Centre, Reading.
Parking / Transport: Free/cheap parking as long as you check in on the Ringo app, or take bus (if not direct you can walk up from Caversham Bridge).
Distance/Time: Not sure how long this walk is in miles, but it is 1.5 – 2 hours, all on the flat bar the bridges, tarmac foot paths.
Cost: Free
