Looking to build confidence, strengthen your communication skills and connect with people from diverse backgrounds? Breakfast Club Toastmasters is a welcoming place to learn, practise and grow, whatever your experience level.
Our programme helps you develop practical skills in public speaking, active listening, giving and receiving feedback, leadership and meeting management. You learn by taking part, with encouragement and support from fellow members.
Our members come from diverse backgrounds, ages and professions, bringing a range of interests and perspectives. Meetings are well organised and run to time, while remaining relaxed and welcoming to visitors.
Whether you want to speak more confidently at work, communicate more effectively in everyday life or develop your leadership skills, you can progress at your own pace. There is no pressure to speak before you feel ready.
When and where
We meet in person on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month, from 07:15 to 09:00am, at the Cape Town Athenaeum in Newlands.
