On Sunday, November 8th, I am bringing something truly special to Valencia. We are gathering for a quiet, deeply focused morning of watercolor with an artist whose work has carried across 27 exhibitions worldwide—from different exhibitions in London and Dubai to Lisbon, Bologna, Malaga, and Sofia.

This time Ekrem Yılmaz isn’t just teaching a masterclass in Valencia; he is opening up his process. Formally trained since he was 14 and deeply moved by the soul of Impressionism, Ekrem paints to capture light and shadow the way they feel, not just the way they look. He paints the photographs and moments that touch his heart, using colors that match his soul—and he wants to help you find that same freedom on your own paper.

What We Will Share in This Space

The Flow of Light and Color: Learn how to balance the elusive interplay of shadow and luminous transparency.
Mastering the Medium: Work closely with wet-on-wet dynamics, layering, and the subtle control of edges that give a painting its breath.
Real Connection and Guidance: Watch Ekrem paint his own vision step-by-step, explaining his thoughts in real-time, and receive personal feedback as you shape your own piece beside him.

Basic material is included: Everything you need from professional grade paper, colors, and brushes, will be waiting for you at your easel. It is also recommended to bring your own material and trusted brushes or paper to put the techniques into practice with your own material.
