Harvest Moon Hike on Shoal Creek

Hey y'all! We’re heading out again for a hike on Shoal Creek — a scenic 5.1-mile loop at an easy pace. 🌅✨ 🕯️ Bring a light source (headlamp or flashlight) — and don’t forget your water bottle to stay hydrated! 📍 Meeting Point: Austin Recreation Center Parking Lot. Location on Google maps: 🗺️ Hike Route: We’ll start at the Austin Recreation Center parking next to the Skate Park, 1301 Shoal Creek Blvd, crossing Shoal Creek Blvd. and under 12th Street, making our way down the Shoal Creek trail to Shoal Beach at Lady Bird Lake. We will return by heading back up the Shoal Creek trail to Pease Park. Stops may include the new Austin Central Library and Pease Park. Once we have enjoyed the "Treehouse" at Pease Park we will return to the parking lot before 10 as the city has a curfew of 10PM for parking in this area.
