Fado & Petiscos — GD Vilar’s 70th Anniversary Celebrations

Ever heard Fado at a local celebration? On 2 October, join the Guibook community for GD Vilar’s 70th-anniversary celebrations: live music, homemade petiscos and time to meet people after the Fado.

Paula Canossa will perform with Rui Pedro Claro on Portuguese guitar and Luís Coentrão on Fado guitar. She has sung in Porto’s Fado houses and released her first album, A Descobrir o Fado, in 2013. Her 2026 single, A Vida Não Pára, which she co-wrote, features guitarist Pedro Jóia, who has won the Carlos Paredes Prize twice.

There’ll be a generous supper of homemade petiscos, including caldo verde, rojões, a cheese board, cured meats and more, followed by dessert and a liqueur. Wine is included.
