ONIL Easy/Moderate Sierra de Biscoi y El Serrat

Hello Hikers
We're planning another route. It is a repeat of a route we did last spring but as it was so lovely and the meal after too we have decided to do it again! It is a hike near Onil around Sierra de Biscoi y El Serrat. We hope you can join us!

An easy/moderate 12 km route wih an elevation of about 300 m
Estimated duration – About 3.5 hours (depending on breaks)

Bring – Water, snacks for a break.
After he walk we'll head to Bar Campo de Tiro Onil for a brunck/lunch grilled meat feast. Confrm if you would like to join us in the restaurant. It will probably be around 20€ per person CASH ONLY

Appropriate clothing and footwear is essential. Generally the mountain paths are quite good but they can be uneven and rocky with some tricky parts to this route, so good walking shoes are recommended.

Meeting Point - This is a tricky one and parking is limited so car sharing is recommended. We can give someone a lift from Elche.

(Although it is just a moderate walk\, it is still 16km and there will be over 400 meters elevation not an ideal route for anyone who isn't familiar with hiking or who is recovering from some sort of injury.)

Price and payment - The cost is 3 euros per person. Please pay within 5 days after sign up. Otherwise, we will move you to the waitlist until the payment is received.

How can you pay? You can pay for the walk via bizzum to 644759926 or via a bank transfer (message us for the account details). You need to indicate your name in the transaction details so that we will mark you as paid.
Why are we charging? We are charging a small fee to our popular walks. The reason for this is to avoid last minute cancellations, no-shows and long waitlists. The money raised will help us to cover the meetup organiser fees which are now quite substantail!
Refund If we need to cancel the event, you will receive a full refund or transferred to your next event.
