Remember boredom? The good kind! the kind where you doodle, build a card tower, learn three chords, or just talk to a human being face-to-face without a notification interrupting you?
Well we're bringing it back, baby every other SUNDAY!
Unplugged is a free, 2-hour, tech-free hangout where the only rule is: no phones, no screens, no devices. Everything else is fair game.
We'll have board games, instruments, cards, art supplies, and books on hand but the real fun happens when you bring your thing. Knitting? Yo-yo tricks? A guitar you've been meaning to actually play in front of people? Bring it. Bring your friends, your family, your weird hobby nobody else appreciates. You can socialize or feel out the space.
🎲 Games, instruments, art supplies & earplugs (for anyone who wants some quiet) provided
🙌 Bring a friend, bring a hobby, bring your favorite deck of Uno cards
🚫 Devices stay in pockets/bags for the full 2 hours
We'll kick things off with a quick welcome and a few words on why unplugging & digital wellness matters (spoiler: it's not about quitting tech forever, it's about finding your balance). We'll close things out the same way. In between, it's just... people, being people, in the same room, doing whatever sounds fun.
This is part of the UnpluggedEra's mission to help human build healthier, more intentional relationships with technology with no shame, no judgment, just space to reconnect with the offline world (and each other).
Come as you are. Leave your phone in the car if you have to. We promise it'll survive without you for two hours.
you'll thank us later!
