Tuesday Treks (Dustin Swamp)

It's the last trek of November. Maybe we will see a turkey or two, exclusive of the leader. There should be a chill in the air and the trees may be barren. Come and see all the changes in the air and on the ground that are always occurring here at Dyken Pond.

This hike will start at the nature center and meander around a little of the Cherry Trace and Mary McFalls trails leading to Dustin Swamp. We will do a moderate pace and cover about 3 miles of the various trails leading to and from Dustin.

We take your safety seriously during this time. Trek is limited to 15 individuals so please sign up early.

As of this posting, Dyken Pond Road is in great shape. Take this into consideration if attending. An AWD or 4WD vehicle is still highly recommended.
