COMPETITION NIGHT! Building public speaking skills with North Oxford Speakers

COMPETITION NIGHT!
On Monday 26 October we are hosting the Toastmasters' Oxford area annual Humorous Speech and Table Topics (short impromptu speech) competitions for members of local Toastmasters' clubs. Winners will go forward to represent the area in the Toastmasters' divisional competition.

Guests are very welcome to come along and observe. (Our next standard meeting will be Monday November 9th)

North Oxford Speakers extend a warm welcome to you to join us as a
guest, for a fun and interactive evening!

What we'll do:
We will show you how Toastmasters can help YOU to develop your public speaking skills and how to use your voice, gestures and speech structure in a way that keeps your audience engaged. We'll also have an impromptu speaking sessions for you to take part in - but only if you want to, otherwise hang back, learn and enjoy the meeting.

Great for work, social confidence, interview skills - or just for the fun of doing it.

What to bring
Your listening ears, your verbal dexterity, an open mind - a pen, and feel free to bring friends!

Important to know
There will be no charge for this fun experience.
Good bus links to Summertown, and a low cost car park next to venue.
