San Jose Vinyl Hunting 101: Spin And Search

If you have been wanting to start a vinyl collection but feel a little intimidated by the process of digging through crates, this event is for you. We are getting together in San Jose to walk through the basics of how to spot a good record, what to look for in terms of condition, and how to navigate the shops without feeling overwhelmed. This is a low-pressure environment meant for people who are just starting out and want to learn the ropes alongside others who are just as curious.

We will spend the afternoon browsing a local shop, sharing tips on how to build a collection on a budget, and just enjoying the experience of finding hidden gems. You do not need to bring anything other than your interest in music and a willingness to flip through some sleeves. Whether you are looking for classic rock, jazz, or something more obscure, come join us to see what we can find.

If you are planning to come by, please let us know by RSVPing so we have a rough idea of how many people to look for. We hope to see you there.
