Introduction
Enjoy the beauty of the fall colours and the tranquillity of walking around Trout Lake. The farmers market at Trout Lake runs every Saturday until the end of October. It starts at 9:00 AM and finishes at 2 PM. Perhaps come earlier to enjoy the market before we meet for painting.
Meeting Point
We’re meeting at the wooden benches by a dock, which is not where the farmers market is. It’s directly across the lake from the older washroom building and beach on 19th Ave. Coming from Templeton Drive, walk along paths that lead to this area from both Semlin and Lakewood. See photo and pinned location on the map.
As it’s Farmers Market Saturday, taking public transit might be a better bet than driving your car and trying to find parking.
What we do
We’ll meet at the wooden benches by the dock, then go our separate ways to paint, then come back at 2 PM to share our work.
All levels of experience, using any medium, from sketching to painting, are welcome. Perhaps bring a stool, and remember to dress for the weather.
I look forward to meeting you at this beautiful park!
See you soon,
Maryan
