Birmingham Comedy Festival: Free Half-Dayer (1) Two parallel bills of contemporary comedians at Cherry Reds and The Victoria, both situated neighbouringly on John Bright Street in Birmingham (by New Street Station) throughout Sunday afternoon. This one is an absolute give-away for comedy fans! Expect a relaxed atmosphere of sipping cocktails, beer, wine etc, with social mingling intermittently rudely interrupted by a shed load of funny bunnies. Flit between the two venues to bag the best acts. We have held this event in previous years and it was well received each time. Logistics: Venues: The Victoria & Cherry Reds (John Bright St, Bham B1) Meet: 12:30 at The Victoria, by bar near the foot of the stairs. Tickets: Not needed, turn up at the door Cost: FREE (but pay what you can in appreciation) Arrive: Early for seats, shows begin 1pm Greeting: Collective among members in attendance; please indicate below if you are happy to be a contact for anyone new. Hosting: Provided by the show. Travel: New Street Station is pretty much adjacent (use Navigation Street exit) and walk left. Don't drink and drive please.
