A Meal at The Real Greek in Soho

September's meal sees us return to the delicious food at The Real Greek in Soho. This is a restaurant that delivers both in quality and quantity and there is always a lovely atmosphere too. Here's a few bits from their website. The food we serve comes from the delicious and healthy diet of the Eastern Mediterranean, where people have a passion for food, family and life. The wonderful flavours and the variety found in Greek food can be traced back to ancient times – and on this diet Ancient Greeks, like Alexander the Great, conquered the world! We have created dishes that are inspired by those epic journeys and benefit from the many different cultures and influences that now shape modern Greek cuisine. We believe our menu and the atmosphere in our restaurants bring back the memories and the spirit of Greece. Eating in Greece is never rushed. We take our time, engage in discussion and love to share our food with friends and family. It will be great to return to this firm favourite as we say farewell to the summer months and look ahead to autumn. Our meal at The Real Greek is booked for 7.30pm. The Real Greek Menu For those who wish to meet for a pre-dinner drink, we will gather at The Duke of Wellington on Wardour Street from 6pm. I will aim to secure a table upstairs for this. To reserve your place, please rsvp and pay the deposit. £10 goes towards your meal and the rest covers Meetup and PayPal costs. Note that Meetup also charge a small fee as they act as agents for the event. After dinner, for those willing and wanting, we usually head to The Friendly Society on Wardour Street for 'one for the road' and a bit of a boogie (should you wish to). This meal is limited to 16 - so it will be first come, first served. So do not delay - RSVP today!
