Let’s explore the International Museum of Surgical Science by candlelight — a lakefront mansion filled with history, elegant architecture, and medical curiosities! 🏛️ This special after-hours experience adds a spooky Halloween twist to an evening inside the historic Eleanor Countiss House.

Join me Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 6–8 PM for a candlelit tour followed by a complimentary reception with light fare. 🕯️🍴

🏛️ Historic Home Snapshot

Built in 1917 as the private residence of Eleanor Countiss
Eleanor lived in the home until her passing in 1931
Today, the mansion houses the International Museum of Surgical Science
This special evening offers a different perspective on the home’s architecture, former residents, and medical collections
