Are you really running the show?
You're reading this. At least, you think you are.
You chose to read it. Didn't you?
And you're in control of what happens next.
Are you sure?
What if the person you think you are, and the world you think you're living in, aren't quite what they seem?
In this fun, hands-on session, we'll break into small groups and challenge some of the assumptions we've been running on autopilot.
🧠 Who's really making your decisions?
🎮 Are you running the show, or just narrating what's happening?
✨ If pleasure feels so good, why doesn't it last?
🧭 If happiness keeps slipping away, are we chasing the wrong things?
🌧️ What is suffering, really? And could it actually be good for us?
No lectures- facilitated exploration. No right answers. Just open-minded discussion, surprising discoveries, lively conversations and plenty of laughter.
You might leave questioning things you've taken for granted your entire life. You might even discover something about yourself that changes how you see the world.
And you'll meet other curious minds who love exploring life's big questions.
Sometimes all it takes is a small crack in our picture of reality to see things differently.
Afterwards (optional): Keep the conversation (and the laughter) going over food and drinks at the Power House.

Alan Carter has trained in philosophy for 32 years, trained and applied Non-Violent Communication by Dr Marshall Rosenberg, Byron Katie"the Work", Internal Family Systems Therapy, counseling and mediation. He has given over 1000 classes/workshops over 25 years.
