NYC Basket Brigade 2026: Thanksgiving Baskets in Westchester 🧡

One week. Hundreds of baskets. Families across New York fed.

Since 1996, the NYC Basket Brigade has fed more than 1.5 million people across New York. Last year, Westchester came together for 850 families.

Every one of those baskets happened because someone showed up.

This year, that someone can be you.

You’ll work alongside 100+ volunteers, unload turkeys, build baskets and send them out the door to families. Pick the shift that fits your week. Just 2 to 3 hours makes a difference.

🤝 WHO WE ARE

We’re an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Since 1996, we’ve been a scrappy group of New Yorkers making sure our neighbors have a Thanksgiving meal. No big headquarters. Just people who care, getting it done.

Together Everyone Achieves More. That’s our motto, and it’s how we work.

Bring a friend. Bring your family. Let’s give families a Thanksgiving to remember.
