Join me for a hike around Hebden Bridge in the Calder Valley. We’ll walk through the town and into the hills taking in Lumb Falls and Hardcastle Crags. There’s a lot of variety on the hike with streams, waterfalls, open moorland, woods, a graveyard where a famous poet is buried and a couple of lovely West Yorkshire villages. We’ll end at lively Hebden Bridge with a drink in one of the many local pubs. There is car parking close to the train station where we’ll meet. Meeting point Outside Hebden Bridge Station Public transport There are regular trains to Hebden Bridge from Manchester Victoria. Dogs Well behaved dogs are welcome on the walk and in the pub.
