THE WALK
We’ll wander from historic Amberley, follow the winding River Arun and take in gorgeous villages and castles, before settling into the beautiful market town of Arundel for festive celebrations.
Amberley – Often nicknamed the Pearl of the Sussex Downs, the village looks a bit like it was taken from off a Christmas card, with its thatched cottages, stone walls and 14th-century castle ruins
Burpham and Wepham – Tucked away in a quiet valley, these tiny hamlets sit on ancient Saxon fortifications built to defend against Viking raids, and offer quintessential English country charm surrounded by rolling hills.
Arundel Park and Castle – Finally, as we walk through the extensive grounds of Arundel Park, we'll get dramatic views of Arundel Castle that has stood guarding the valley for nearly 1,000 years.
