Yeehaw it's a Winery Fall Hoedown Y'all!

Grab your boots, turquoise and favorite cowgirl hat—we're heading to the Tumwater Vineyard Hoedown!

This seems like a super fun event and a chance to check out another winery together, but the main reason Tumwater belongs on our Wandering Women Who Wine radar: its winemaker is Anne Sery, a Bordeaux-trained winemaker who grew up on Réunion Island and built her career right here in the Willamette Valley. We love discovering and promoting the women helping shape Oregon wine!

Just about 20 minutes from downtown Portland, Tumwater Vineyard feels like a little escape into Oregon wine country. Its beautiful 23-acre estate vineyard on Pete's Mountain is planted primarily with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with a gorgeous Barrel House, patio and vineyard setting.

For the Fall Hoedown, Tumwater is breaking out the country music and turning up the fun. We'll have a DJ spinning country favorites, a dance floor for some boot-scootin', a photo booth, plenty of wine, and country food available for purchase. The featured dinner is ribs, cornbread, baked beans and slaw for $36, with drinks and lighter bites also available.

This event is held outside so dress appropriately for our Oregon weather, y'all!
The event itself is FREE, but space is limited and reservations are required and it's also 21+.
