Our adventure follows the renowned Schlaubetal-Wanderweg, taking us through quiet forests, alongside the Schlaube River and past historic mills that reflect the area's traditional rural heritage.

November brings a special atmosphere to the countryside. With the final colours of autumn, fallen leaves and crisp forest air, this is an opportunity to enjoy one of the last beautiful hiking days of the season before winter arrives.

The hike will be led by Daniel Cole, tour guide and Lonely Planet author, making this an opportunity to discover the region alongside an experienced guide.

The group will take breaks along the way, but this is a full-day hiking experience rather than a short nature stroll.

🚆How to get to Berlin Ostkreuz?
We will meet at Berlin Ostkreuz at 8:00 AM before travelling together towards the Schlaubetal region.
The planned return journey will be by bus, with an expected arrival back in Berlin at approximately 7:00 PM.

🕗 8:00 AM — Meet at Berlin Ostkreuz

Meet your guide and fellow participants at Berlin Ostkreuz.
We will introduce the group, review the day's arrangements and prepare for our journey to the Schlaubetal region.

🚆 8:00–10:00 AM — Journey to the Hiking Area

Travel from Berlin towards the Schlaubetal region using the planned transport arrangements.
Enjoy the journey out of the city as we approach Brandenburg's peaceful countryside.

🥾 10:00 AM — Begin the Hike

Start our hiking adventure through the beautiful Schlaubetal landscape.
Follow quiet woodland trails and natural paths through the region's forests, enjoying the crisp autumn air and changing seasonal scenery.

🌲 10:00 AM–12:00 PM — Forest Trails & Natural Landscapes

Continue through the woodland, exploring the peaceful trails and varied scenery that make Schlaubetal such a rewarding hiking destination.
There will be opportunities to enjoy the surroundings, take photographs and regroup along the way.

🍽️ 12:00 PM — Lunch at Forsthaus Siehdichum

Take a well-earned break at Forsthaus Siehdichum.
Enjoy lunch, relax in the natural surroundings and recharge before continuing the hike.
Lunch and refreshments are at participants' own expense.

🌿 1:00–4:30 PM — Continue the Schlaubetal Hike

After lunch, return to the trail for the second part of the adventure.
Continue through woodland paths and scenic natural sections, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and the final colours of autumn.
The exact route and stops will depend on the day's trail conditions and group progress.

🚌 4:30 PM — Take the Bus Back to Berlin

Regroup at the designated departure point and begin the planned return journey to Berlin.

🕖 7:00 PM — Arrive in Berlin

Expected arrival back in Berlin, marking the end of our full-day Schlaubetal hiking adventure.
