Due to the holidays, we will be having a shorter novel mid-month, and no end-of-month. This one is 288 pages & was very well recommended by a couple of members. December will also probably be held toward the 15th, FYI.
Please note we will meet at the Barnes and Noble off Powers this time!!
"There Is No Antimemetics Division" is a science-fiction horror novel and web serial by author qntm (Sam Hughes) that centers on a secret agency fighting self-erasing, memory-consuming entities. [1, 2, 3]
Core Concepts
Antimemes: Ideas that actively prevent people from perceiving, remembering, or recording them.
The Division: A classified department tasked with containing these mental threats, where staff frequently forget their missions, coworkers, or the existence of the department itself.
U-3125: An apex antimemetic entity that erases anyone who conceptualizes or notices it.
Origin: The story originally developed on the SCP Foundation wiki before being adapted into an independent book and a commercial edition by Ballantine Books. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]
