Let's take advantage of the balmy Austin nights with some delish Veracruz tacos on The Line Hotel patio on Cesar Chavez, strolling down to the gay district, and then rooftop dancing the night away at Coconut Club! 🪩👯✨ (Feel free to join for either part of the evening - tacos, dancing... or both!) DISCUSSION TOPIC: Creative Expression and Queer Art 🎭 Explore how art and creativity can be a form of expression for bi/pan identities. Share and discuss artworks, poetry, music, and other creative works that resonate with your experiences. AGENDA: 8:00-8:30pm - Arrive, order yummy tacos, find the group on the patio 🌮🤗 8:30-9:30pm - Eat and chat about our September topic 🎨 9:30-10:00pm - Stroll up the road to Coconut Club (free entry pre-10pm) 10:00pm-12:00am+ - Dance our booties off under the stars!! 🍑🌟 TO BRING: Your ID, if you're joining for the dancing at Coconut Club (21+) Cash/Card, for tacos at Veracruz + the cover for Coconut Club (if you arrive after 10pm) PARKING: Veracruz is inside The Line Hotel. They offer complimentary valet parking for locals for up to 1 hour. Parking validation is available for $10+tax for up to 3 hours. If you plan to stay for dancing, you might want to find street parking, or park at The Line and then move your car to street parking near Coconut Club for the second half of the evening. There's also parking at City Hall only a block or two away from The Line.
