Lights Out Halloween Climbing

It's Cliffs of Id's world-famous Lights Out Climbing for Halloween!

Meet us down in the ropes area by the benches by 6:30pm, we'll climb until they close at 9:30 (extended holiday hours)

It will be DARK, it will be FUN, it will be SPOOKY. Feel free to dress up. I will be wearing black cat ears and makeup, look out for my jack-o-lattern and glo sticks! Try to be on time as it will be dark and hard to find us once we start. Send me a dm if you're running late so I can keep an eye out for you.

\Don't forget to bring a headlamp or be prepared to purchase one from the front desk as supplies last, they'll usually $20-$30

🔥 For Lead and Top Rope 🔥

We'll give each other belays, comradery, and encouragement in the dark. Join us!

You must be able to pass the gym’s top rope belay or lead test (free)/have a Touchstone belay card before belaying on top rope or lead climbing, respectively.

Note to anyone who might be nervous about attending this event:
Climbing is a personal journey between you and the wall. Your climbing skills will not be judged. You will not be holding back your belay partner no matter your level of experience.

This is a friendly, supportive event that is welcoming to climbers of all skill and experience levels. Whether this is your first time climbing or your 10,000th, you are welcome. We are a safe environment for all!

Beginners:
If you've never climbed or belayed, please take the Intro to Climbing class before attending this Meetup. The cost is $45, or free for Touchstone members.

PRICE:
A day pass is $35 for non-members and free for Touchstone gym members. Contact me to arrange a $5 discount or even a free pass if you’re not a member.

Gear bundle rental (shoes, harness, ATC, chalk) is $5. If you buy a membership ($112/mo) it will cover all Touchstone climbing gyms.

PARKING
Limited free parking is available in front of the gym in its own lot but fills up quickly. A bigger lot (also free) is directly across the street on Fairfax, and there is metered and free street parking around the block.

Please be aware if tandem parking, you will have to sign a log and be ready to move your car on notice.

I recommend entering the gym lot from Fairfax, if there’s no parking go through it and turn right on Hines to look for street parking.

Continue on and turn right on Washington. Still no luck? Go through the intersection and turn right onto Genesse to access the big lot, then walk to cross the street to the gym at Adams.

Once you get checked in, turn left and go down the stairs. Look for the Meetup Figure 8 Fridays group flag!
