Making Art at Gungsan Soangnu

2026년 가을의 절정을 어디서 보내면 좋을까 고심 끝에 찾아낸 곳, 바로 궁산 소악루입니다. 조선시대 화가 겸재 정선이 양천 현감으로 있을 때 자주 올라 그림을 그렸다는 곳이죠. 소악루에서 바라본 주변 풍광은 그림으로 표현하기 어려울 정도로 참 멋드러집니다. 아름다운 경치를 어떻게든 자신의 언어로 표현하고 싶을 때, 여러분들은 어떤 방법을 선택하나요? 눈앞에 보이는 걸 그대로 그려내려고 하나요? 아니면 여러분의 가슴속에 일어나는 심상을 표현할 방법을 찾나요? 완연한 가을, 풍요로운 색상과 심상들을 마음껏 여러분의 조형언어로 표현해보아요.

천천히 궁산 둘레길을 오르면 여러 갈래로 흩어진 길들이 궁산 소악루에서 만납니다. 천천히 가을을 느끼며 주변을 거닐다 소악루 근처에서 만나요. 주변에 마땅한 식당이 없으니 간단한 먹을거리를 준비해 오시면 좋을 거 같아요. 궁산 소악루에서 가을을 잡아보아요!

After much thought about where to spend the height of autumn in 2026, I found just the place: Gungsan Soangnu Pavilion. During the Joseon dynasty, the painter Jeong Seon often climbed here to paint while serving as magistrate of Yangcheon. The view from Soangnu is so beautiful that it’s hard to capture in a painting. When you want to express a beautiful landscape in your own way, how do you do it? Do you try to paint exactly what you see, or look for a way to express the images and feelings that arise within you? In the full splendor of autumn, let’s freely express its rich colors and impressions in our own visual language.

Follow the Gungsan walking trail at an easy pace, and its many winding paths will lead you to Gungsan Soangnu Pavilion. Take your time enjoying the autumn scenery as you wander nearby, and let’s meet near the pavilion. There aren’t many suitable places to eat in the area, so it would be a good idea to bring a little something to eat. Let’s capture autumn at Gungsan Soangnu!
