Most people use AI by opening ChatGPT, asking a question, getting an answer, and moving on.

But AI can be much more useful when you turn it into an actual assistant that understands its role, knows the right information, remembers how you like to work, and can eventually connect to the tools you already use.

In this practical, beginner-friendly meetup, we’ll build an AI assistant from scratch and look at real examples of how assistants can be used for both business and everyday life.

We’ll cover:

What an AI assistant actually is
The difference between a chatbot, assistant, and AI agent
How to give your assistant a role, goals, and clear instructions
How to give it knowledge about you or your business
Memory and why it makes AI much more useful
Connecting assistants to email, calendars, files, and other tools
How multiple specialized AI assistants can work together
A quick look at more advanced setups, automation, agents, and self-hosted AI

I’ll also show some of the AI assistants I use in my own businesses, as well as a personal AI setup my girlfriend and I use together.

No coding or technical experience is required. If you’ve used ChatGPT, Claude, or another AI tool before, you already know enough to follow along.

The goal is simple: you should leave knowing how to start building an AI assistant that is actually useful to you.

After the talk, we’ll have time for questions, discussion, and networking with other entrepreneurs and professionals from around the Costa del Sol.

Bring your laptop if you’d like to follow along, but it isn’t required.

No necesitas saber programar ni tener conocimientos técnicos. Si ya has utilizado ChatGPT, Claude u otra herramienta de IA, sabes lo suficiente para seguir la sesión.

El objetivo es sencillo: que salgas del evento sabiendo cómo empezar a crear un asistente de IA que realmente te sea útil.

Después de la charla tendremos tiempo para preguntas, conversación y networking con emprendedores y profesionales de la Costa del Sol.
