Carisbrook Historic House (Lane Cove)
Location: 334 Burns Bay Road, Lane Cove
History: Built in the 1880s from locally quarried sandstone, it is one of Sydney’s only remaining middle-class Victorian house museums.
• Visiting: The site operates as a local history museum and is open to the public on the third weekend of every month. Visitors can take self-guided tours and enjoy Devonshire tea in the gardens.
