Gunung Pulai (Mount Pulai) is a popular and accessible hiking spot in Kulai, Johor, about 650 meters high . It's known for being a good training ground for beginner with adequate fitness level, offering a moderate steep & steady climb that will definitely get your heart pumping .
The main trail is a 5km paved road that winds through a cool, shaded rainforest all the way to the top . This makes the route straightforward, though the steep incline provides a fair challenge and a satisfying workout .
