Lower Lift, Upper Lift, Upper Traverse, and Escalator Loop & food

A just the facts write up. Had a request for this one.

This is Lower Lift, Upper Lift, Upper Traverse, and Escalator Loop. Don't get your hopes up. No Escalators taking you up and down. Wanted to get that out there so I don't get those three star and less reviews, "It said Escalator in the Title! I had to walk on the hike!"

You'd be surprised.

This is a Sunday pretty easy hike around 4.9 miles. I posted the Komoot link, but I am still learning it. so explore it for yourself. Don't know much about it yet, but it looks promising. Parking can be limited.

The Spiel

Lower Lift, Upper Lift, Upper Traverse, and Escalator Loop, a popular 4.9-mile multi-use trail system located in Walden's Ridge Park just outside of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Elevation Gain: ~656 feet
Difficulty: Moderate
Primary Activities: Mountain biking, hiking, and trail running

Terrain Breakdown
This loop serves as the fundamental bi-directional "climbing network" or perimeter loop of the park:

Lower & Upper Lift Ticket: These sections are generally more rhythmic, flowing, and gradual. They track across the northern boundary and lower perimeter of the park.
Upper Traverse & Escalator: These segments introduce steeper, tighter, and more technically demanding singletrack. They feature plenty of exposed roots, rock steps, and sandstone bluffs characteristic of the Cumberland Plateau transition zone

After food, Burgers and stuff at River Drifters. It is a nice place and they have a good BLT.
