What keeps us from connecting deeply? (in-person Nijmegen)

Do you recognize a longing for real, genuine, deep connection, and at the same time, a persistent difficulty getting there? At times you might blame others; at times you might question your own capacity to connect.

In this first session, I'll introduce a few factors that can stand in the way of real connection, so you can start to get a sense of what might be at play in your own experience of connection that doesn't seem to land. These factors can lie in yourself, in the other person, or in the space between — the "us."

Importantly, none of these factors are fixed traits or permanent limitations. They're patterns that can shift and be worked with. The aim of this session is not to diagnose or label you, but to offer some orientation points in your own process of developing deeper connection.

This is also the first chance for this group to meet and get to know each other.
