Welcome to the Monthly Book Club, the discussion edition of Budapest Silent Book Club.

In Moby-Dick, Ishmael describes “a damp, drizzly November in my soul”. This November, let’s read something warm and pleasant to keep that feeling at bay.

Our next book is Leonard and Hungry Paul by Rónán Hession
a gentle, funny novel about two quiet friends, everyday kindness, and finding your place in the world.

📅 Friday, 27 November 2026

I’ll bring a few questions, but the conversation will be informal: what stayed with you, what you enjoyed, and what you made of it.

Please read the book beforehand; we’ll discuss spoilers.
Newcomers are very welcome, and the discussion will be in English.
