Welcome to Monday Intermediate Beach Volleyball (no beginners)

We limit attendees to 20 during PRIME TIME ( 2 courts / up to 1 sub/team). We encourage everyone to RSVP if you plan to attend but ONLY time of arrival guarantees your spot. Once additional courts open up, we’ll gladly expand and divide teams accordingly.

🏐 This event is for intermediate skill level volleyball players who Bump, Set and Spike. We also expect players who are able to move quickly enough to continue a volley. It is expected that those who participate accept feedback so as to improve performance and grow in skill. We seek to maintain a friendly-competitive environment.

🏐 Players are expected to adhere to most regulation beach volleyball rules (see below for more details and a resource link provided).

🏐 We play a pair of games before circling up again to redistribute players into teams. Players are expected to commit to both games.

ABOUT US:

🏝 Our community of volleyball players in Tampa continues to grow and we welcome new players to our group all the time when not at capacity for an event given existing court space. We strive to continue creating a fun and friendly-competitive environment of all age groups (18+), offering a safe space for those looking to de-stress, work up a sweat, and meet new people with a shared interest. We sometimes get together before, after, or outside of volleyball meetup events for socialization. All are welcome to attend!

💯 RULES:
We enforce most nationally recognized regulation beach volleyball rules in effort to improve gameplay and strongly encourage all players to abide by these and self-referee all plays made during the game. Set overs are not allowed.
Net height is set to position O for consistency.
Server is expected to announce score so that all can hear before the ball is in play.
Please rely on the host in charge for additional questions and final decisions.

IMPORTANT NOTES

🤕 Please note that you assume full responsibility for any risk or injury by participating in this event.

🔞 To minimize risk, you must be 18 or older to participate in this event.

🙅‍♀️ This is not a dating site. Anyone randomly messaging or harassing players will be removed immediately for their safety.

😷 Do NOT attend any event if you are currently sick, experienced prolong exposure to someone with a contagious illness (not limited to COVID-19), or have any symptoms of illness present.

🎼 Music will be decided upon by the host in charge for each event.

🏐 Ball choice will be decided upon by the host in charge for each event.

🚭 Smoking and Vaping are NOT permitted in close proximity to the playing area. If you choose to smoke or vape please do so away from the playing area and away from other participants.

🚫 Hosts of the event reserve the right to remove any players based on misconduct or inability to follow any of the guidelines presented in this description to keep this a healthy and safe space for all.
